TANDOORI POMFRET IN METHI LEAVES.

TANDOORI POMFRET IN METHI LEAVES RECIPE.

INGREDIENTS:

2 medium pomfret fish

Salt, turmeric, and lemon juice (for marination)

FOR THE MARINADE:

2 tbsp curd

2 tsp garlic paste

1 tsp green chili paste

2 tsp cumin paste

OTHER INGREDIENTS:

150 grams fenugreek leaves

1 chopped tomato

Mustard oil for cooking.

METHOD:

  • Clean the fish but leave it whole. Make slashes in each fish. Sprinkle salt, turmeric, and lemon juice and keep aside for 10 minutes.
  • Mix all the ingredients for marinade and marinate the fish with this and leave aside for 10 minutes.
  • Heat a non-stick tawa and add 3 tsp of mustard oil.
  • Place the marinated fish on the tava on medium heat.
  • Top with fenugreek leaves and chopped tomatoes.
  • Cover with a lid and cook on low heat, turning once or twice till both sides are cooked. Serve as a starter.
