GIRLS:-
Tell her stories about her childhood and yours.
Do not encroach upon her privacy. Do not read her diary.
Stop complaining her to others. Each individual is different and unique in her own sense.
Make her feel happy by watching her do something she enjoys.
Encourage and respect her when she pretends, dresses up or draws. These acts enhance their imagination, creation and spontaneity.
Give her opportunities to be her own — this will help her establish her identity.
BOYS:–

Hear his complaints. Listen to him and be ready to apologize if he says you’ve gone too far.
Share an interest in his hobbies, but give him breathing spaces too.
If you’re upset with him, don’t just shout. Explain to him why you’re angry.
Make him feel confident by teaching him to be on his own.
