READING BROUGHT ME CLOSER TO MY FAMILY.

Growing up, I was the reticent one in the family, especially when it came to my elder brother. I loved reading, while he loved sports. We didn’t spend much time together because, as far as I was concerned, we had nothing in common. One weekend, I stumbled upon a book about well-known athletes and their stories. To my surprise, it was fascinating. I had always assumed sports were only about winning matches, but the book opened my eyes to the struggles and relentless effort involved behind the scenes.

After finishing the book, I decided to talk to my brother about it. I expected him to find it odd that I had suddenly developed an interest in sports but he was thrilled. We spent hours discussing his favorite games and players. He even started his collection of sports-related books and magazines with me. The little book about athletes became the bridge that brought us closer. Now, we watch games together and have meaningful conversations about sports. Through reading, I not only learned something new but also strengthened my bond with my brother.

I have always loved reading about adventures, but I have never imagined I’d experience one myself. One day, while browsing a used bookstore, I discovered a mystery novel. Its protagonist, a clever detective, followed a series of clues across the city to uncover hidden treasures. Inspired by the story, I found myself on a real-life adventure in my own neighborhood.

It started when I noticed a small message tucked between two bricks in an old wall. Curious, I followed the clues, which led me to various spots around town — a cozy cafe, an ancient tree, and a set of park benches. At the end of this trial, I found a box hidden beneath a pile of pebbles. Inside was a note that read “Congratulations, you found the treasure!”

I was ecstatic. For a moment, I felt as though I had stepped into the pages of a book. That experience taught me that reading is more than entertainment — it can spark the imagination and lead to unexpected adventures.
